We're hiring a Technology Specialist!
Infomatix is growing and we need someone to help us keep our clients happy and our projects on track.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing an excellent client experience
- Satisfying the needs and objectives of Infomatix and its clients by ensuring the technology is up to date, protected and operational
- Monitoring operational performance and troubleshooting issues
- Working with the President to determine project architecture
- Working with the InviStructure Coordinator to ensure projects are on track
- Researching, prototyping, recommending, and pricing new hardware, software, and services to improve performance
- Responding to and resolving issues such as:
- Setting up and troubleshooting VPN connections
- Setting up networks and troubleshooting issues
- Recommending new equipment and services for improved performance
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Data recovery
- Staying aware of industry trends
- Training others on new equipment and/or technical services
Specific technologies that you will be supporting:
- Server hardware: Dell and HP
- Desktop hardware: Dell and Apple
- Notebook hardware: Lenovo and Apple
- Operating systems: Windows 7 and OS X
- Server operating systems: Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Home Server 2011, Windows Home Server
- Mobile devices: iPhones, iPads and BlackBerry devices
- Networking: Ethernet routers and switches and wireless access points
